2022 MEN IN DANCE Festival

A two-weekend hybrid event

Coming off the heels of two years of virtual dance festivals due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MEN IN DANCE is proud to present a brand new format, with two weekends of (very different) dance works. We are so excited to have been live and in person for IN THE FLESH (Weekend 1) featuring new works by nine choreographers from around the country, and eagerly anticipate your participation at IN THE FRAME (Weekend 2), a celebration of dance on film.

IN THE FLESH opened LIVE onstage September 30-October 2 at the Erickson Theatre Off Broadway and featured the following artists,:

Featuring, from L-R: Gregg Bielemeier (Portland) - Gary Champi (New York/Seattle) - Julius Flores (Seattle) - Gabriel Mata (DC) - Bruce McCormick (Los Angeles) - Robbi A. Moore (Seattle) - Joshua Romero (Orange), Ethan Schweitzer-Gaslin (New York/Seattle) - Teddy Tedholm (New York)- Allen Chunhui Xing (Baltimore)

IN THE FRAME, a separate program of original dance films, will take place October 7, 8 and 9. There will be no “admission fee” for this second weekend, but MEN IN DANCE (as a 501c3 non-profit arts organization) always welcomes your tax-deductible donation here.
